Week 24 & 25 Update

Week 24 & 25 Update

It has been another week of running around at work, having our 24-week check-up and preparing to drive to Georgia for Christmas.

Week 24
Looks like a photo trick with a slight tip of the camera the baby bump looks different

Week 25
Next to our ChristmasTree
Next week we will begin using our chalkboard again

This week has been FREEZING!  For Florida weather temperatures dipped into the high 40s and low 50s.
Then jumps 10-20 degrees by afternoon time.
****Nothing compared to Georgia****

You cannot really see it, but the temperature is 28 degrees and there is a little snowflake to the left of the temp

Gender: Princess (is that a gender?)
Weight gain:  Officially 9lbs which sounds like so much!  I feel it when walking up the steps.
On a good note, only 2lbs gained between week 20 and 24
Maternity clothes:  No, but I may cave soon.  Baby does not like it when I wear pants.
Stretch marks: No.
Belly button in or out:  More of an outie but not completely
Sleep:  Pretty well.  I just fall asleep on the couch mainly because I can lean against the backing.
Best moment this week:  Ummm Chirstmas time!!!  Baby wise, daddy is able to tell when she is moving and is able to feel her kick :)

Worst moment this week:  Daddy threw out his back during Christmas week.  We were a sight to see...Daddy walking like he was carrying the baby and I actually carrying the baby. During our visit in Georgia, the hubskies had to see the Chiropractor and on the way back home the car ride was very very uncomfortable to say the least.

Miss anything:  Stamina does not even explain it.  This past week, it feels as though baby is pressing against my lungs so I am out of breath here and there.  It has gotten better and I position myself differently so she and I get the O2 we need :)  It's just amazing she is that big already - or it's because I am that small...
Movement:  Yes.  It's neat because she responds to Daddy's voice when he is on the phone (that is when he really projects his voice).  It's also neat to feel her move her hands and feet at the same time so my stomach is moving in so many directions.
She also does not like daddy's alarm clock.  She has made that well known as she has woken me up from kicking so hard at the response of his alarm.
Cravings:  Still the same things:  Ice cold water, apples and hot dogs.  Although we do not have hot dogs at home so this is a craving I've yet to satisfy.
Queasy or sick:  No.  Praise the LORD!
Looking forward to: Daddy getting better, breathing better and seeing baby at our next sonogram.  Yikes!  I cannot believe we are entering the 6th month!  My how time flies.

Here are some photos from Week 24 & 25 of how we spent our Christmas and New Years...
