How far along: 18 weeks
Gender: We still do not know yet; two more weeks!!!
Weight gain: I feel like I have really started to show within the last two weeks - which is the reason we are starting to take weekly pictures :) So far I have gained about 3-4 lbs total.
Maternity clothes: No, but my pants are starting to really pinch my tummy and our baby is sure to let me know how uncomfortable it has been. Seems as though it is time to purchase the 'belly band'?
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: I am naturally a night owl, however I am much more uncomfortable sleeping at night. This is more due to research!!! Ahh! Everywhere I have read online recommends to sleep on your left side as it helps with kidneys and getting blood to the baby. I also have scoliosis and it has been very difficult to lay on my left side. Sleeping on my back and right side is a definite no-no. When on my back, I can really feel baby and when on my right side is when I am most uncomfortable. Time to purchase a wedge pillow!!
Best moment this week: Everyday! Feeling the baby move inside me, starting to show the baby bump and the hubby's recent grocery run...Love you!
Worst moment this week: Just feeling by body get tired easily - but this is nothing new since day 1.
Miss anything: Sleeping comfortably and energy.
Movement: Flutters here and there when I am really still. Mainly feeling baby move :) Made me tear up a little (me tearing up = very weird)
Cravings: The continuation of home comfort food! But today, salty!!!
Queasy or sick: No. A little queasy if I eat oily foods or drink soda.
Looking forward to: Finding out if we are having a boy or girl!
Best moment story....
Best moment story....
So he ran home grabbed his wallet and dashed to the closest convenience store.
He returned some time later and as he laid the plastic bag of chips he shared his hunting story...
Long story short, my poor hubby was asking all the associates at Publix where to find 'SANDY potato chips' and sharing his hunt is for a pregnant woman with cravings in hopes to find these name brand bag of chips.
After an unsuccessful hunt and as the frustration began to set in,
hubby decided to read his text message again, only to find out I was only asking for 'SALTY potato chips'.
Gotta love him for his determination and going on the hunt in the evening.
Enjoy!
